Missing Earthbar? Try These 3 Easy Smoothie Recipes to Get Your Fix

A fit-looking woman in black sports bra and gray leggings pours green juice from a glass pitcher into a glass she's holding; easy smoothie recipes

We have good news and bad news.

The bad news is that 92% of us aren’t getting the nutrients our bodies need to function. The good news? Smoothies make it easy to get your daily dose of vitamins. And it’s not just about sucking down kale and celery juices. By combining the right fruits, vegetables, nuts, and more, you can create a delicious and nutritious shake. Check out some of our favorite healthy smoothie recipes below.

Easy Smoothie Recipes:

  1. The PP&B

This pomegranate, pink grapefruit, and beet smoothie is a pink drink that packs a punch. Not only does it contain plenty of protein, but it also is full of nutrients that leave your body feeling invigorated.

To create this recipe, combine the following in your blender:

  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • 1 cup organic pomegranate juice
  • 2 cooked beets
  • 2 pink grapefruits (peeled and seeded)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt

This is one of our favorite healthy smoothies because it makes it easy to incorporate beets into your diet. Beets are jam-packed with essential nutrients, like vitamins C, B6, and iron. They also contain 1.7 grams of protein, making them an excellent post-workout snack.

  1. A Green Delight

There is something about drinking green liquids that feels super healthy, and this green smoothie is no exception. To create this tasty shake, combine the following ingredients in your blender:

  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
  • 2 cups cucumber chunks (peeled)
  • 1 cup celery chunks
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil
  • 2 teaspoons all-natural lime juice
  • 1 dash of salt

The cucumber and celery combined with the pineapple give the smoothie a light and refreshing taste. The basil not only enhances the flavor but also provides an extra dose of vitamins A, C, and K. The shake is light, so it’s the perfect pre-workout snack to fuel an upcoming session at your local athletic club.

  1. Cran-Orange Shake

This is one of our favorite healthy and easy-to-make smoothies. There are only five ingredients (plus ice), but the cranberries and oranges make the shake burst with fruity flavors.

To create this recipe, mix the following in your blender:

  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • 2 oranges (peeled and seeded)
  • 2/3 cups cranberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup almond milk (oat milk can be substituted)
  • 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons agave nectar

The agave cuts the tartness of the cranberries and makes the shake delightfully sweet. Agave nectar is a healthy, all-natural sweetener that comes from the agave plant. It’s vegan and a healthy alternative to artificial sweeteners.

This cranberry and orange smoothie is a great breakfast shake. Citrus aromas can reduce norepinephrine (stress hormone) and help us start the day feeling calm, cool, and collected.
